President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on assumption of office recognized the importance of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations to Nigeria’s Development processes.

His diplomatic shuttles in the early period of his administration repositioned Nigeria in the global space. Most of these shuttles were on invitation by world leaders and regional blocks.

He was invited to attend the COP22 summit in Marrakech, Morocco. Following the success of the Summit and the side meeting President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR held with King Mohammed IV of Morocco, he was invited to Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.

During the visit, about 17 agreements were signed covering major economic sectors in power, energy and infrastructure. This opened a new chapter in the Nigeria/Morocco relationship and renewed their long-term relationships.

Expectedly, Nigerians and Moroccans are to take advantage of these developments in promoting business relationships at all levels especially in the development of private enterprise and economy.

Against this background, two Nigerian companies, Pluriflash Nigeria Ltd and GB Agro-allied Nigeria Ltd were invited to attend an international conference on Aquaculture in Agadir. During the conference, it was observed that women formed a major segment as participants and visitors to the conference. It was at this point Pluriflash Nigeria Ltd, being an Events Management Company initiated the Nigeria /Morocco Business Women Summit and contacted (AFEM) the Moroccan Business Women Association for collaboration toward the organization of this summit.

The Summit was designed to have presentations of predetermined topics by speakers, a Networking Session, an Exhibition and a Gala Dinner and Award Night.
